the first part of statement is true. people do need to concentrate on their work more. some people (like me) spend to much time on this app, but it does not mean the app is bad.
so you want us to concentrate on our work, not waste time on this app.
people are going to find distractions from their work whether or not they have this app. better the distraction be this app, that does good as explained in earlier comments, then something that does kill the brain.
Right. Give me a second to process this. You are telling us to get off if this app because it wastes time and kills the brain, yet you are on this app often enough to have gathered enough 'information' to argue this statement? I frankly, don't want to get off of this app. I like it. As do many other people.
Debate is a great way to analyze arguments, think critically about evidence, brush up on basic logic, and check emotional investment Vs facts. It's a way to challenge your own believes and learn from others. There are a lot of silly topics on here which don't interest me much, but the ones that do interest me tend to be very engaging and mentally challenging especially when I get to debate some of the more talented debaters of here.
Thinking critically and logically is a good skill to master. Broadening your horizons and learning other people's perspectives are also good things.
