I am actually sorry, I must have been in a rush. the religion I intended to compare christianity to was Hinduism.
although shintoism may be even more foreign.
Well, I wouldn't call Buddhism a religion specifically because there are no deities. But definitely not all religions are the same
nemiroff is right, Buddhism implies that universe had always existed and no dieties, and reincarnation. some of these ideas can be found in other religions, but still these other religions aren't same as christianity or religions that are similar to Christianity. so many religions are similar and use the ideas of other religions, but they're not really same
