People are forgetting how to communicate with the inundation of technology providing accessibility to anything you need. Today's youth are less community-minded and aren't learning by example like previous generations. Good social skills are necessary to be accepted, and if you want to succeed you need people to accept you. Parents need to teach their children good manners so they carry them into adulthood. I think we are missing some of this because most families need 2 incomes to survive, and there isn't a home-maker parent available to have the children interacting with their neighborhood. Some skills you just can't tell a child without real-life experience to solidify the lesson in their minds. Video games and social media teach violence, sexuality and bullying and if that's what a child spends their time with daily that is what their mind sees as normal.
