Believe it or not but the way cities are built today really does affect society. it is built in a way which the rich and poor are segregated, making it near impossible for the poor to gain traction on wealth even if they tried. if you work where there is no money, odds are you will be paid next to nothing aswell. this also affects how politicians make laws pertaining just to what they know as the economy. if they knew how people lived in poor areas they could change it more easily. but instead they focus on increasing stock value rather than increasing something as simple as labor jobs.
