I refuse to align myself with a political party that actively attempts to deny women equal pay as well as proper resources for sexual health.
intellectual people think about different issues and come to their own opinions. there are no politicians I completely agree with. I have opinions that are conservative and I have opinions that are liberal, but I wouldn't classify myself to either party (in Canada Liberal and Conservative are political parties not just value systems).
It is also incorrectly inferring opinions based on a grouping.
have ever voted for a conservative president? if you have all liberal opinions and no conservative ones that makes you liberal.
calling someone liberal Is not an insult, it's a better way to classify people onto groups. and tell more about their beliefs.
Also, being accused of being a liberal or an atheist is no different than being accused of being conservative or being accused of having brown hair. None of that is insulting. They mean that you have a set of beliefs. There is nothing wrong with liberals as long as they are not too extreme and believe the state should control everything and there is nothing wrong with being conservative unless you are extreme and believe the government should have no control over individuals at all. It is a spectrum and the vast majority of both groups fall somewhere in between.
I admit that my views tend to lean more towards liberals than conservatives, but I have yet to see any government, party or leader that I agree with completely and until I do I will not endorse any party.
I am agnostic and have readily admitted such and have also argued against atheists when they claim there is no God. Just because I frequently disagree with you does not mean that you can define my views.
are you anything? you say your neither athiest or theist, you say your neither liberal or conservative. but in reality your a atheist liberal.
I think you say your not her of those things do we can't accuse you of being liberal, atheist ect.
I'm am not affiliated with any political party. I have never, and likely will never vote by party. I decide based on platform and position on issues who I support. I am typically closer to liberals than conservatives since I am not religious, meaning I dislike their stance on same sex issues, but the Democrats do their fair share of stupid things too.
