and what do you mean Mexico owes us money? unlike us Mexico has barely any debt. after that tax bill and this wall, they may settle this whole border dispute by straight up owning us

both the illegal and legal immigrants are coming here to get away from the same shithole. I don't see how they could bring their derelict infrastructure or corrupt government with them, and immigrants have far lower crime rates.... so unless you feel the people themselves are the shithole I don't see how they are bringing the environment they are all trying to get away from.

as for walls, historically they served a different purpose, keeping out armies, not migrants, and that purposes ended with the invention of cannons... that's why there are no new walled cities since the middle ages.

how would you feel if I showed you how many people on border towns are against the wall?

instead of building a wall against humans trying to come and make money; build automated work and education stations. Don't tell me all those seeking admission to the US have no ambition or potential. Do you know how much it costs to be born in a Mexican hospital and procure the necessary documents that will please the likes of Donald Trump? We are talking people too poor to have even learned English. Massing a bunch of tough guy ICE officers in the south is a waste of money and entertainment for sadistic fetishes of brutes. Convert the ICE agents to instructors. Not everyone wants to come in US and sell drugs or rape children. The few that do can be ferreted out by refusal to accept the work and study option, so ICE can keep a few of the goons, as it is now, they are only able to teach capture, punishment, and prisons. You have to realize how bad the water in Mexico is that they are escaping from.

With as much money as Mexico owes us, they don't have much of a choice in the matter. Especially when we control NAFTA. We have all the power. Also, walls have been PROVEN, historically, to serve their purpose. If it aids in border security and helps our overwhelmed border patrol agents on the Southern border, then I'm all for it. After all, it isn't YOU putting your life on the line over there. It isn't YOU who lives in Laredo Texas, or any of the other bordering towns where rape and murder rates are INSANE.

Also, be considerate of the immigrants who came here LEGALLY - ESPECIALLY Hispanic immigrants from Mexico. They literally came here to get AWAY from, yes, the SHITHOLE they lived in, and the crime and poverty that surrounded them. They didn't come here to live in the same environment that they had to endure, and escape from, in Mexico.

Since even ICE knows the vast majority of illegal immigrants come through points of entry like border crossings, ports and airports. a wall is 25 billion dollar placebo to make racists feel better.

Mexico sure as heck isn't paying for it
