I wasnt sure about the height but they definitely lose bone just like they lose muscle.
weight bearing is important for bones and in 0g weight doesnt exist. so they leak calcium at a scary rate. much slower than muscle loss, but the recovery is much slower too.
I've heard they come back taller. the disks in their spines decompress. I've never heard of their bones becoming frail.
