Our societies are dominated and even driven by ideas and product from technology and it is very likely that the influence of science and technology on our lives will continue to increase in the years to come. Scientific and technological knowledge and skills invade real life in modern society.

I disagree. Humanity is obsessed with the next big thing, and the newest gadgets. There will always be a desire for more, as that is our nature. Some people avoid it due to their beliefs, such as the Amish, but that has been ongoing. Humanity as a whole will not reject technology as it's seen as beneficial.
