If you had banned everyone in both North and South Vietnam from having a rifle or pistol, how does this extinguish crimes?
The people were killed from jellied gasoline and aerial bombardment while uselessly clutching rifles.
I am certain the answer to stopping killers is not confiscation of guns and rifles.
Unnecessary, and sometimes deadly provocations are massively occurring in USA based on someone intent upon confiscating the rifle of someone who would otherwise ignore it as just a historical treasure and symbol.
A man who did not buy the gun to kill anyone with, is subject to be confronted by you and your ilk; who apparently will use deadly force if necessary to possess the man's property.
With or without guns, people have to worry about false flag attacks from so called allies, let alone worrying about known aggressors and predatory entities.
Before Ho Chi Minh.
