Breakfast means to break the fast. Your body is in fasting mode while you sleep. Eating breakfast kickstarts your metabolism. If you go hours more without eating then your body thinks it needs to store food until it gets another meal. This causes body fat storage. To optimize your metabolism, you should graze on mini-meals versus several large meals.
