I have repeatedly explained the differences to him. he ignores my explanations. he isn't ignorant because he doesn't know these things. he doesn't want to know them. if he bothered to learn what these words meant he wouldn't be able to throw them around in the incredibly stupid way he does. my attitude toward him isn't arrogance. it's frustration at someone who claims to want to debate but is completely unwilling to learn or think about anyone else's ideas. he won't even bother to look at the definition of words he uses after being told he uses them wrong.
Im going to say...arrogance is worse than ignorence historybuff
what did I say was the same?
your inability to see the differences in complex concepts shows you are either extremely unintelligent, or simply unwilling to think about things. your argument is like saying a cow is black and has 4 legs. so is a dog. therefore a cow and a dog are the same thing. you just sound rediculous.
No communism is when the government does whatever they want with everyone's money. The government owns everything in communism. Socialism is making things equal, giving rich people's money to the poor.
how many times do you need to be told that socialism isn't communism. socialism is not getting the same pay for everything. that is communism. please read what these things are before you spout your ignorance.
we need a little socialism, very very little.
free public school, social security some food stamps, but not total socialism or even close to total socialism.
the problem with socialism is it causes lazy people, in socialism you get the same whether you work or not. so why work?
the problem with Socialism is you eventually run out of other people's money. it also will eventually lead to more extreme forms of government if not kept in check by the people
I do not agree with communism, but modern US, Canada and pretty much every other nation is socialist to some extent. Pure capitalism leads to people starving and corruption running rampant. Controlled capitalism with socialist programs is better for both the people and the stability of the society.
