Sport is usually related to physical activities and I don’t see physical activities in chess. I think chess should not be called a sport. The physical activities are very minimum because we only move our hand. We mostly use our brain in chess because it involves tactics and strategies. Perhaps, we should call it a game, rather than a sport.
