No one should have a get out of jail free card. Fame and money cam buy better lawyers, but they shouldn't be able to buy you a better sentence. I haven't seen nearly as much coverage of cases in Canada where something like that happened, but then we don't see a lot of coverage of Canadian trials. Not sure if it is because of different rules about what can be reported or just because there are so many more celebrities in the US. Heck, Bieber started out Canadian but at this point we don't even want to claim him anymore.
it is a problem that needs to be addressed, at least in the u.s., specifically regarding criminal NFL players.
If you commit a crime, you should be punished for it. The punishment should be fair based on the crime committed, and everyone should face the same punishment no matter their race, wealth, or connections.
celebrities getting out of jail and punishments easily disgusts me.
