Your right the bible should be called into question because its a book that can be interpreted in an infinite amount of ways depending on who read it, and the scripture has bin translated many times so odds of it being word for word on point in the English language are slim to none doesn't mean its not close though. It all comes to how you interpret the bible I personally, don't believe all the stories are meant to be taken literally, I believe some stories were misdescribed events where the writer described what they experienced or saw to the best of their ability but had no knowledge to what they had witnessed so used words that came close to the description they wanted. That's not even accounting for the scripture that was supposed to be metaphorical, so everyone should question the bible and read it for themselves. And just because something can be called into question doesn't make it untrue, after all science is always under question. It really wasn't all that long ago that brilliant men of science believed the world flat, and those that challenged that theory could see prison time and even execution. So your theory's no matter how logical are not proven fact, they hold no more weight then our fairy tales do. And with so many fields of science their are literally hundreds of THEORIES on how life began and with a lot of them contradicting one another. By the way their is more to creationism then just what the Christian bible touches on. The majority of you only consider the Christian bible so even if you were to some how prove that Christianity was all bs you still have plenty of other religions to disprove. Fact plain and simple is we are human and understand very little about where we come from and may never find actual proof, so we must remain tolerant of others beliefs cause for all we know we are wrong. And god damn I_Voyager one time try to write something that doesn't make you sound like a Neanderthal lmao
I'm not scared to go to hell. "The middle finger is the flag you wave when you're silenced." May the Tyrant fall.
@river93x do you realise there are trees that are older than 6000 years old probably around where you live? Scientific evidence has proven many biblical accounts false. ex. Noah's arc, the great flood, animal migration post great flood, fossil layers in the grand canyon. Our theory's consist of evidence. The point is, science has trumped enough of the bible to call it into question. uhhh people who believe in scientific theory over religious text do not fear what they don't believe. could you elaborate?
OK so you guys discovered how the beginning of time got started and can say so with 100% certainty? And if so please elaborate because I haven't bin informed yet. Come on science and all its wonder's only has its theory's just like believers have their faith... Two different words but damn near the same idea. Those that can't stand science and religion coexisting are usually scared of the others Ultimatum. People of faith are terrified that their all mighty lord and promised heaven are a long running joke. On the other side of the spectrum followers of science are just scared they've done enough shit to wind up in hell. Plain and simple science and religion have earned their place in to society.
