I've done this on occasion. usually with games I'm not sure I will like, or i doubt are worth the price they have slapped on it.
one example is XCOM 2. I figured it was probably the same game with slightly upgraded graphics. they were charging like $80 for it. Steam lets you share your library with people so I borrowed my friends copy, totally legally. it really wasn't worth $80 in my opinion.
but with other games I have done this, loved them, and then bought my own copy. If a company does good work I like to support them.
i don't like companies that charge money for every tiny update to their games, I don't like supporting that business model. so I rarely buy them unless they are heavily discounted.
it's up to you and if you want to give make sure you get it back
this should be in the troll thread. unless youre that lonely that you cant ask a family member or someone else.
a lot of my school friends dont buy these games(i buy games) and they ask me to give the game files. i cant ignore them but nor i can support piracy of games. what to do iam confused.
