i might change my vote depending on this question. i voted yes, but assumed african history rather than black history.
we absolutely need to learn more about african history. with the exception of Egypt, africa may as well not exist according to our history books. yet independent research showed massively wealthy kingdoms with extensive politics and trade on the eastern side of subsaharan africa. we also barely touch on Asian history, which is incredibly rich.
if its African american history, i think its fairly well covered. im sure there is room for improvement, there always is, but it is rather familiar to most americans.
