You know, there are hunters who love hunting animals for food. Big game hunters who hunt and kill just to put the animal on a wall in the trophy room won't be allowed that kind of conduct if they are allowed in the Paradise.
Choices in what you eat on the Earth have future consequences. If you are choosing to eat pigs and flies instead of Porterhouse steaks and Salmon, you will be judged as one of the ingrates.
You also are making the mistake of limiting death to an incorporeal and intangible state. The one responsible for you having a physical body capable of consuming food has transformation and resurrection powers within his arsenal. That's why those people who were sold as slaves to those who massacred the Native Americans will escape all punishment for eating pork chitterlings/intestines on the Thanksgiving holidays, as long as they aren't eating it in these post Civil war days. They have a valid excuse for the past as their captives only allowed them to eat the very worst part of the pig as food.
Perhaps you are not aware that hatred of Muslims was the root cause of forcing people to eat pig intestines. That same hatred of Muslims has survived in America to this day, but Muslim people are not weak and easily subdued like the natives who fought the battle of wounded knee.
Sorry for sidetracking the discussion about the foods in heaven.
note, I'm not saying that eating animals bans you from heaven, I'm just saying it wouldn't be completely unimaginable.
however, although one will be able to enjoy the glories of meat in heaven, it may be true that those of us who eat meat through the killing of other creatures, in a world where other, non killing options are available may not make it to heaven to begin with.
so although there will be no conflict with meat eating in heaven, it is possible that only vegetarians will make it to heaven as you asked earlier. guess they'll finally find out what they've been missing out on.
and without the moral concerns of killing and the medical concerns of it being bad for your long dead body there would be no conflict around the eating of meat unless one simply doesn't like the flavor.
it is true that the pleasures of food and comraderie around a meal are valuable experiences, but especially in a place like heaven one can imagine acquiring meat through the magic of the divine without the need for killing.
Even here on earth we are within a few decades of making artificial meat. and no not the black bean and soy variety but actual animal meat grown from stem cells in a lab without the killing of any animals.
surely the creator of all life can make cruelty free meat.
There's a heavenly aspect to properly prepared meals. Now why should you be denied such an improved sequel in an improved environment?
The camaraderie and companionship along with a fine meal on the Earth would certainly transcend there.
Since nobody can get fat there, it's one of heaven's treasures.
but would one even need to eat once one's body dies?
This is a good one. If you read the Bible, you can see that even the Almighty has a thing for animal sacrifice. If you read the Quran, you can find even more advertising for delicious meats in heaven.
what is your view on the topic?
Even if you are Christian ,would you be open to hunting and eating animals only found in Paradise, or do you expect heaven to only allow vegetarians in?
