while the person who posted should have used spell check, the education system does need improvement. The fact that the government is involved in it makes it difficult to succeed. a school gets money for high test scores, but tests are not always an accurate mean of measuring ones intelligence. There could be someone who is very intelligent in the field of literature, but because they couldn't pass a math class, they will be denied from entering top universities because of that failed class. as the famous quote by Einstein says "if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live it's entire life believing it is stupid". overall the one size fits all approach needs go go.
You are assuming that these aren't necessary for medical students. Not all med students will be doing clinical medicine. Some will lead academic research labs and conduct studies that will require those subjects.
It's a matter of teaching to the most complex task of that degree rather than the most common.
It's also a matter of using the undergraduate programs to filter out those that can't apply themselves in subjects they don't have any interest it. Meaning that it's difficult for difficulty's sake, not because you are necessarily expected to retain the knowledge, but because you can show that you are able to learn these more intense subjects. It shows how well you will do in the next phase of your education.
by non useful i mean, like in medical stream a student is tought so much organic chemistry, trignometry, diffrentiation, integration etc. now tell me one thing what will he do with all this stuff i agree basic knowledge of everything is important but it should be basic only not at expert level
I disagree only because the term non-useful us very vague and could be used to argue against things like art, physical education, philosophy, etc... If you could clarify that term I could probably agree with you.
Are you in one of the countries? (remooved)
