The debate "Eugenics - selective breeding not of race of specific traits. EX intelligence strength... There needs to be more votes to see what the common perception is. It looks like most of the people in this community are on the agreeing side of this statement.

In principle it makes sense. The people with desirable characteristics reproduce, and over generations the entire population becomes smarter, stronger, etc. The problem is that telling people who have undesirable traits that they are not allowed to reproduce is unethical. Unless you have 100% of the population on board, you are forcing your ideals on some.

A better solution would be a planned community for like minded people. That way everyone starts out with the desired traits, and there is less conflict (until the next generation).
