It is an individual's decision whether or not they want to be married. Some people do not want to have children and are content being by themselves. Others are not interested in monogamy, so they are better off single than deceiving a spouse. The world is overpopulated already so we are not at risk for dying out if some people choose not to reproduce.
I think getting married is a must for us. It’s a way to have a safe and legal sex. Our family name is also important so we want to have children and grandchildren that can continue our family name from generation to generation. Besides, we need people who are going to take care of us when we get old someday and those people are our children and grandchildren.
