I agree, you can't tell what any one woman wants, let alone most of them.
How can you generalize so much on one sex though? People are so different
I'm not talking about some. I'm talking about the majority Alex. If people only worried about the some we would never get anywhere. I don't Care about the some. They can do what they want to do. I'm talking about what most woman can relate to. Not all woman. Most.
I know some guys who like the color pink, and who actually like that movie Frozen.
I know a girl who likes to play sports, and will never wear a dress, but at the same time she likes it when you hold the door for her, and things.
so I it depends on the person. to agree or disagree to this topic would be generalizing, and we don't want that.
same thing with "treated like a girl" there are so many different opinions on what that means.
I wouldn't it refer it to as feminine because every one has has some degree of feminity including guys. Yes I know there are plenty of things guys want like girls and would appreciate. I have a boyfriend who's like that but at the same time there are plenty of things that have no interest in. how is that sexist?
Sometimes what falls under "treated like a girl" is sexist.
What are you defining as girly? I am looking for more concrete definitions here. There are men who like to feel (depending on what you mean) "girly" too.
Yeah some stereotypes are true, but the fact that they are brought to every individual girl in this case is the problem. Everyone is unique.
Its not about stereotypes anymore. From what I experienced most girls like to feel girly and feminine not because there trying to live up to there stereotype its because they actually like it and if you really want to know just Google or ask. Stereotypes aren't a complete lie. The roots come from what's actually true about the general group of people. What's bad is that everyone assumes that every single individual is the same way but its a general common thing that most girls like. Stereotypes have truth to it. Its not like some complete lie that someone made up. Not all girls are the same but I'd say most r that way
That's what I was stuck on. The only things I could think of were like gentlemen type thing--- like holding doors. I know A LOT OF WOMEN that hate that though.
I mean people are different so can't really say. People like to be treated differently.
It really comes down to what stereotypes are we using at the given time.
What do you consider feminine that is different from how guys want to be treated?
Even tomboys like some degree of feminity.
I guess your right but most like to feel feminine to some degree. I haven't meant a female who wanted to be treated like a dude and act like a guy unless she was lesbian or actually wanted to be a guy. That's different.
girls who aren't brought up "like girls" tend to not want to be as much
