no, all you can say that it is very unlikely that God is real. You would be overstating your case if you said that God doesn't exist because there is a lack of evidence. Just like with bigfoot. There is no evidence for bigfoot, however, that is not the same as saying there is evidence against the existence of bigfoot.
but because of the lack of evidence, it is evident that it was made up.
You can't prove a negative. The most you could possibly say is that "God probably doesn't exist" or "it is unlikely that God exists". Claiming any kind of absolute knowledge on this subject is the same as claiming that there is a God. The claim implies a certain type of knowledge which is impossible to substantiate.
