up until march this year, I'd seen neither! now I have and I have to say I prefer star wars. my personal opinion was that harry potter was alright for the first four movies/books but then it got boring. it was very samey samey, magic stuff happens voldemort comes harry fights him etc don't get me wrong I enjoyed them but I just didn't get the hype surrounding them!
star wars I guess you could say the same, force stuff happens, there's a bad guy and a Jedi comes along but I found the plot more interesting and episodes 1,2 & 3 I thought were pretty emotional. There was emotional stuff in harry potter too but it didn't effect me in the way star wars did.
having said that star wars isn't something I would be in a rush to watch again and again, I saw the new one twice, thought it was good! but I wouldn't be upset about it seeing it again.
The hunger games is what I like! saw the new one 3 times in 4 days! and am absolutely gutted there isn't any more to come out!
