this is like asking if you prefer to sleep in a pile of crap or a pool of urine. I'd prefer none of the above, especially since they tend to go hand in hand.
the dictatorships help fuel the extremism. subjecting people to repression and violence causes them the fight back.
Dictatorships help America in the short term. but in the long term you are only creating more enemies.
Dictatorships are better. Better to have a stable madman then a radical group. The region cant handle democracy.
those dictatorships are a huge part of the reason Isis exists. years of repression and corruption bred revolution. they turned to religious leaders to lead them.
you didnt see iraqi or libyan army trucks killing people on streets in paris. did you? atleast dictators dont do that.
