well...am not saying about pre-marital sex...think about those children born from Rape or Abuse...Even if we come to childmarrige then what about those children....smililarly some students may have got responsibilities of their little siblings in the absence of their parents what about them???
that's the opposite of taking care of the kid
Of course not. What a foolish claim. If they have pre-marital sex not only should they be forced to keep the child, but they must also be forced to provide for it. That means no tax payer funded daycares.
Yes...just like colleges highschool should give such facilities...being parents in teen may not be a falut
Some high schools also have not enough funding for even educational material. Spending the funding towards daycares may not be an option for these schools, unless the government is able to specify a certain amount of money especially for the daycares. Also, some high schools, like the one I went to, is overcrowded as is. A daycare may take up too much space and also disturb classes around it.
Many school districts offer what's called "Opportunity School" where students with kids can go to still continue their education. Many of the other children that go there are also the trouble makers though.
At the end of the day though, it's not the school district's job to provide daycare it's just to educate.
You may say, "without a day care how can the students be educated?" The students should have taken that question into consideration before it got to late.
Point is don't do it in the first place. Sex is not the holy grale and it can what until you are done with school.
It's a fair statement Swagger, but who will pay for employees at the day care? If it's a single mom with children and she works, then the child has someone to look after them already. So what would the benefit come from a day care at the school?
Sometimes, it isn't always the teen's fault.
On another hand, sometimes the teenagers make big mistakes and deserve to find reconciliation.
The pressure of having a child could force the teen to drop out of high school, and never pursue a college education. Thus making your scenario of a job at a gas station even more likely.
However, if we show them that they can find support and live within those around them, they will be able to continue to live their lives and not end up "working at a gas station" and they WILL eventually be able to support their children.
Ya lets encourage our teens that it's ok to go have premarital sex cause it's ok we will give you free day care so you can get your diploma and then go work at the local gas station so you can supplement the foodstamps. Teens todayneed to know how hard it is to be responsible for another human being and not that oh we will do everthing to help you make it easier on yourself. Come on JUST DON'T HAVE SEX UNTIL YOU CAN SUPPORT A CHILD........
Don't have expectations that you are entitled to support because you couldn't control you urges.
