I have heard federal prosecutors say Comey made the perfect case for a prosecution, and that one off the federal definitions of gross negligence is "extreme carelessness" Comey seems to be honest, but I still do not understand the decision. Comey testifying made it even more confusing and it makes you start to think.
One thing that did come quite clear is that Clinton repeatedly lied about everything and hoped the American public was to stupid to find out. No secretary of state should be associated with the word careless with classified information. I do not see how anybody can see her as honest an trustworthy after this, and many many things.
No worries. I can't say whether she deserves to be punished in general because only those involved in the investigation know all the details, but the fact that they decided not to prosecute is sufficient for me. Even the Republicans haven't actually pushed for prosecution, they just complain about her not being punished in the media. That tells me that there isn't enough there to punish her legally for.
You are aware that the FBI doesn't actually punish anyone, right?
