but the first lady has no such obligation. it is nice if she chooses to use her platform for positive change, but she didnt choose to run for office, and she doesn't owe us anything. if she wishes to just avoid the spotlight, that is her right.
that info should be open to the public.
certainly. I'm not saying turn it into a reality show where every move is monitored. but his official actions and (especially if he doesn't divest) financial documents should be open to scrutiny. a leader should not be a secretive mystery to his own people, at least not in a democracy.
agreed. though even the president deserves a certain amount of privacy
I can think of 3 explanations.
privacy, indifference, or compelled silence.
rather than the loaded word of secrecy, I think mystery is the more accurate term. we simply have no clue. however, I dont think she bears any responsibility or duty to us. she has every right to secrecy, peace, or indifference. she was not the person running to represent us. he privacy is her right. her husband, less so. it's called a public position for a reason.
I saw a news video about her and thought it was kinda funny. it was about the press being mad that she was so "secretive" all the time. I figured she probably doesn't want to have her entire life put in front of a camera.
mostly missing in action.
her 1 day anti bully project should be more focused on her own husband.
her motivating him to end family separations was admirable.
I'm not sure how much of a relationship they actually have and she tends to look miserable. the one thing that I can say for certain is that there is alot of mystery surrounding her.
anywhere u want to take it.
do you mean her health or her performance?
