on that debate we are really of topic.
Christians around the US were enraged by the gay marriage law. They obviously wanted no gay marriage. If they merely "voice your opinions", you can stop debating me on the HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN debate. Let them be themselves.. Just because you don't like gay marriage does not mean you get to make those who are gay feel bad about it.
As a gay man I can honestly tell you... I love Tue westboro baptist church. Why? Because they bring so many people together in unison against them! I love it.
westboro merely "voices they're opinions", huh?
How, by voicing our opinion?
You don't take away the rights of gays, you just make us feel like the devil.
We don't force schools to teach creation. We suggest.
We don't take away the rights of gays, we do not participate, and we express our opinion.
By trying to force schools to teach creation Christians force their religion on others. By repressing the rights of same sex couples they spread hate and intolerance. Not all Christians by any means.
Where did u guys learn Christians hate others, and force others to follow them?
Radical Islams do this, not Christians.
Absolutely. The Pope said "Who am I to judge" about gay people. That doesn't mean he endorses gay marriage, but he us willing to be tolerant and respectful. The current Pope really does seem to practice what he preaches.
Dave's made a lot of argument there. People can practice what they believe, but they shouldn't be allowed to force others to follow. Just because they believe that gays shouldn't have rights doesn't mean they get to take it away from them. It just means they aren't FORCED to do something.
I agree with you Dave that everyone should practice what they preach, but I've been seeing a lot of "Christians" that hate on people who disagree with them which shouldn't be the case.
I think everyone should practice what they preach because to do otherwise is hypocrisy. This shouldn't be limited to Christians, or even just to religion. Telling someone not to smoke while having a cigarette, or that drinking is evil whole having a beer not only undermines the message, but the integrity of the one giving it.
They should practice what they preach, sadly there are many Christians who do not preach or practice there faith. they are called non-practicing Christions. they preach nothing so they practice nothing. Those who do preach should practice. St James says in the bible that faith without works is dead.
