No problem. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make an informed decision. I personally feel that the fears over vaccines are vastly exaggerated, which biases my input on the subject, but it is up to each person to decide for themselves.
Thanks dave, I really appreciate it.
There are adverse reactions and allergic reactions to vaccines, but they are far less harmful than the diseases they prevent.
It is not impossible for someone to have an allergic reaction to vaccines, but the risks are very low. Most commonly people have a tenderness at injection site or a low fever for a few days.
I can understand wanting to do your research before getting injected with something since I am the same, but having done the research I did get my daughter vaccinated.
Here is the CDC numbers for adverse reactions to different vaccines.
This is a link to the WHO sheets about negative reactions.
And this is a page of what has been demonstrated to reliabily be able to say is caused by vaccination vs not.
The problem with a lot of the people who tall about problems with vaccines is that they don't in any way demonstrate that the vaccine caused the problem. A potential link between autism and vaccination has been one of the most studied ideas in the history of medicine and has shown no link. That doesn't stop people from making the claim, but it does demonstrate that they are wrong.
I know someone in the airforce and she gets shots like no tomorrow. She's fine though!
Yeah, well you see on T.V those people that get the adverse reactions and stuff, I wonder how common that actually is. I haven't been vaccinated for a long time now and I've seen that the air force has their men just line up and get one shot after the other, It just seems like a lot for someone's body to handle.
is this sarcastic? I can't tell. vaccines have been definitely proven to be safe. if you believe otherwise you have been grossly misinformed.
