Mt. Rushmore is a monument, and as a monument, you cannot add something to it unless changed with a new one.

Also, a feminazi warlord doesn't deserve a right to be on the Mt. Rushmore, let alone any kinds of monument

Mount Rushmore is completed, and it already costs a shit ton of money to keep in good shape. Yes the first black president is MONUMENTAL in America's history, but shouldn't it get its own monument? Besides, I don't think white granite would be good for Obama's complexion. Same with the first female president. I think both of these moments in history are deserving enough for their own monuments.

She shouldn't be put on Rushmore! If she wants to be on a monument she must make one herself. And after all this time, nobody else will end up there, it's more or less accepted as a completed work now.

What is the purpose of mount Rushmore? is it or is it not a memorial? That's all it is and a tourists attraction.

3 years, 1 month ago

Yes, Obama was the first black President (Which in and of itself is huge!) But merely summing up his presidency or deserving to be on Mt. Rushmore to that grossly undermines a lot of the stuff he actually accomplished and got done while he was in office.

Now I understand what the presidents of mount Rushmore attributed to the united states, but I'm only suggesting that Obama and Hillary are also a part of a huge change of America, if Hillary wins she will be the first female president this not nothing, Obama presidency is not nothing he is the first black president of America.

He is the first black president of the united states, this is a big change for America and absolutely big part of it's history and should be remembered and the same goes for Hillary. For that reason alone he should have his face added to mount Rushmore and hers as well.

3 years, 1 month ago

Well yes because of the times, but the men (Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt, Jefferson) all attributed to the betterment of the United States. I think we all know our history about those men. I think it would be too soon to compare Obama to any of them. We would have to wait and see how his policies play out down the road. I'm against the idea of basing it off race alone. In my opinion that kinda seems racist.

It really is too expensive and dangerous like I was saying before. My first argument.

But the men on the mountain were added for a variety of reasons not for gender or race (though of course they are all white and male)

3 years, 1 month ago

So it would be based off gender, race and not on the bases of the integrity of the individual or the attributes they have in order for the betterment of the United States. If you could create an argument to be able to compare Hillary or Obama to Washington and Lincoln then I'll be willing to listen. Until then, the idea of basing it off gender and race alone is not a valid argument.

first women president, I also think Obama's face should be added, but the mountain going to make him look white.

3 years, 1 month ago

I don't understand why her face would be added, what has she done that's so great? Has she done anything that a 100 years from now people would remember? I think not

I meant having another face added to it. I don't think it could have so many at once and survive.
