Names are for strangers that do not know each other. If I am you and you are I, shouldn't it be silly to use names? You have already accepted this.
Since I do not know your name, inverting our positions would mean you would not know mine. The only exception I can see would be if we maintained our knowledge while swapping positions, in which case you would know my name but not your own.
