America is close to being as such since it is the only super power left. it would not change and would probably make it worse on ur end.

if America was all powerful it would do same things but it'll be good.

again in theory America is all powerful vs all other nations. it still stands. have u ever heard the saying " power corrupt... absolute power corrupt absolutely"? u use such power on flings and wanting to do good u eventually turn into the thing u wished to stop.

No I wouldn't because I could be all powerful and do it and still be good.

it really does. u want to stop injustice everywhere just like America. ur idealology of America is how u would be as God.

lol no! I'm not all powerful and it has nothing to do with anything.

same with ur idea with God. how u see America is how u would be as God.

America helps noone, actually it destroys many countries. You took it out of context!

u would control every detail thinking u r doing good. what's ur opinion on America helping other countries without being asked?

makson

yes but that is not the point. If I would be an all powerful and all justice being I would stop that

probably. which is possible because how can u tell all this to a beginning race and expect them to understand. though again it's speculation.

Then if God is as you describe, he is not all knowing. That was one of the options that allows for free will. If God didn't know people would eat the forbidden fruit, they chose to. If he did, he created it in such a way that he KNEW they would. Since he set it up know I how to manipulate them into that choice, they did not really have free will.

that's not the point the point is if it happened u would be angry and grieving even if u knew it would happen.

in a way he might not of. thinking to Genesis that's technically where u can see where everything went wrong. maybe by all knowing he means that he can see the path that if we continue like we are we will be on. after they switched lanes(ate the forbidden fruit) the future shifted to and he had to find out a new plan. now in most of our decision will most likely not affect the ultimate goal to much but there are decisions that do affect it. though this is pure speculation.

If I knew someone will kill my son I would stop him.

God didn't just find out someone killed his son. He set everything up that would cause it. He created a universe in which humanity would progress in a way he knew ahead of time. If you set someone up to do something, it is called entrapment. The only way this would not be the case is if God did not know what would happen.

if u know someone will kill ur son are u not still going to be angry when it happens? also it may have been a surprise. people don't always do as u predict.

why would he be angry if he knew that will happen?

maybe some do say that the flood was an act of temperary anger. personally idk. I just follow what I feel is God's will and what he wants us to do instead of bickering over small details.

what if it ain't? what if Christianity is true? what if ur right? what if ect. in the end u must choose one or none but a choice must be made.

that is a curse almost for God. trying his best to protect his flock (people) but knowing some will go to the slaughter.

will say more soon but got to go.

Allah is God. they are the same. we disagree on what God wants. sadly it becomes violent even though we are against violence

then he doesn't know everything and I would agree

he made a plan assuming how we would act. going against the plan was the surprise.

makson

he wasn't surprised, he had a plan noone respected because free will.

Nemiroff

I feel god can take a very educated guess with a high chance of being right, but with room for the occasional surprise.

his declaration of a mistake in making humanity before the flood
and declaration of a mistake in doing the flood prove that god can be both surprised by our actions and regret his own.

I don't think god is perfect, we just couldn't tell the difference between perfection and just being much stronger, smarter, and civil than us (but in no way absolute)

there's no difference between Gods, my wrong and I'll correct myself: What if Quran is truth?

So do you have the ability to do something God wouldn't know about

what's the difference been Allah and the Christian god?

do you think Allah is a name?

interesting idea for sure but we are known to sometimes go against what we are told or believe. or else bibically speaking everyone would still be Christian.

yes ur whole life is meaningless and does nothing. would u actually sum up ur life to that?

The flaw is that either God is all knowing and created the world, or we have a choice. It can't be both. We could have a choice with God being all knowing, or having created us, but not both simultaneously.

Sane people have reasons for what they decide. We make decisions based on the things that we know and our experiences. We are taught by people who learned the same way. That means we can trace back our decisions in an almost infinitely long chain of events. That chain of events eventually ends with how God made the world. If God had made it slightly differently, we would decide differently. If he wasn't all knowing, we could still claim he hadn't set our decisions at the moment if creation since he didn't know what we would choose. If he hadn't created us, we could still claim to have a choice, even though he knows what it will be. If he created us knowing everything that would ever happen, how he made the world determined every situation and decision.

(not really a choice!)
