I think it's a good idea, but possibly through more official channels rather than something like Craigslist. You could get yourself into trouble with the teen's parents or relatives, and if they decide they don't like you, they could say you kidnapped them or something. Better to have a paper trail.
I think adopting a homeless teenager when we are feeling lonely is not a good solution. We might be courting catastrophe because we don’t know him/her and he/she might be a bad guy. Perhaps, we can do several things to keep ourselves busy like playing games or listening to music. We can also call our friends or have a chat with them when we are feeling lonely. The point is adopting a homeless teenager when we are feeling lonely is not a good idea.
It will cost you as much as a puppy. Just place an ad on CL. I have a warm bed for you and a hot meal if you are a teenager living on the streets.
They will think that you are a perv but you gotta try anyway. Just include a sentence like "You don't have to pay me with sex" or something similar.
