I am torn over my opinion of him. On one hand, he may attract since of the people refusing to vote due to disliking Clinton and Trump (which would potentially take votes away from Trump and therefore, by my standards, be a positive thing) but he could also risk helping Trump to spilt the opposition... hear me out!
By introducing a new opposing candidate, it risks dividing the people voting against Trump, meaning that he may still win a majority despite the majority being against him. Say 40% of people vote for Trump and 60% vote against him, that could end in 30% for Hillary and 30% for Johnson meaning Trump would still have a majority.
It reminds me of the case with Theodore Roosevelt where his introduction of the Bull and Moose party spilt the Republican vote and allowed the democratic candidate (Woodrow Wilson if I remember correctly) to win in what was the first democratic success for quite some time.
Just a thought... to be honest it doesn't directly affect me as I'm British but it's always interesting to keep track. And this year seems to be quite an important one!
yup! although he is apparently stopping during his campaign and if he gets presidency. When he started though, he admitted in an interview that he had used it two days before! At least he is honest which is a rarity with this year's candidates!
the libertarian candidate. he has no shot at actually winning. but if he gets enough votes he could undermine either sides chances of winning.
I actually agree with a while bunch of things in his platform surprisingly. he would probably be a much better choice than trump.
whos gary jhonson?
no. a vote for Johnson is a vote for Johnson. it is not a vote for trump or a vote for Hilary.
if some one thinks that Johnson is the best candidate then they can vote for him. since trump is a a giant douche bag, even if I were a Republican I doubt I could bring myself to vote for him.
the rebublicans with a brain and education voted Dr. Carson in the primary.
they will vote trump since they see trump is better then hillary and they know a vote for Johnson is a vote for hilary.
is Johnson the guy who said he liked to smoke weed?
you created this by nominating a candidate with mostly stupid people support. Many Republican with a brain, education, and not directly tied to trump will likely vote johnson.
she is going to win one way or the other. it doesn't really make a difference.
Don't give Hillary the Supreme Court
