We conquered them; they lost. We now own the land.
What we did was wrong, but to revert back to all of the traditional Native American acts and lifestyle would be to revert back to before modern civilization.
you say Americans like we are legal technically we're not even legal we weren't the first ones in America the native Americans were so who are we to say that we should even get free healthcare the native Americans should be the ones making the laws if they want to give us free health care and free education that should be their decision
although I wouldnt deny them very fundamental services
I absolutely agree, unless the legal immigration system is dysfunctional with high fees and a complicated legal beuracracy.
I agree illegal immigration should be discouraged, making legal immigration sensible is a good first step to ensure only unsavory individuals are trying to sneak in... then arm the border.
Someone who is here illegally should not be given any free services except the boot. Come here legally, as a citizen, so you can be treated like one. You cannot sneak into Disneyland and be allowed to stay once caught, why should it be the same for a country?
the topic doesn't even fit into American politics.
the right is fighting against healthcare and education for both citizens and immigrants.
the left is fighting for healthcare and education for both citizens and immigrants.
noone is fighting for the nonsense in the OP.
Why make the topic about immigrants at all? Why isn't the topic that all americans should get free education and healthcare? That would be a very obvious good thing to push for.
who exactly is trying to keep citizens from getting healthcare and education?
