trying to make America great is definitely a worthy goal though. no matter who it is or if it ever was. I think we definitely had a time where life was better financially and a lot were happy but at that same time there was a lot of bad. if we could make it where everyone had that great life then we would sussesfully done it.
I don't think any nation has ever had a period when it was universally great. Every nation and empire has times it showed virtue, or greatness, and associates atrocities and abuses. Martin Luther King Jr was a rallying point for people around the world, but only in response to oppression. The founding fathers tried to create a nation that learned from the lessons of history to be better than anything that came before, but they also had their own prejudices and biases that led to oppression (some people weren't considered people and couldn't vote for example).
I disagree with the "make America great again" because it is feeding off a false narrative of an ideal past and a terrible present. There is substantial better access to information and education, which goes a long way towards creating a better society for everyone. It is still far from perfect, but we don't need to break the system or the nation to fix it. We just need proposed solutions.
I further disagree with Trump's initiatives since they don't seem to be capable of improving America and actually damage the nation and its people. Bankrupting the country and removing the social safety net so that billionaires can make a bit more money doesn't help make America great.
oh the real I see u still haven't learned how to insult someone.
u didn't read much in history did u? there was certainly no army in the beginning. just a militia and the well known minute men who were militia as well. u do realize what seceding means right? so that show u were goofing off in history though I'm not surprised. do u think ur insulting me? u sound like a toddler that lost there binky at this point ur just something to laugh at.
neveralone, you are a goatf***ing piece of shit who should be attacked with gamma rays. firstly, i did not ever say that black people on a genetic level were inferior but rather on a social level they are inferior everywhere and the empirical evidence for that is so obvious that you dont even need to search for it anymore. its not my fault you cant comprehend English.
Now, regarding the imaginary greatness of the US, what the f*** do you mean "look where we started"? at the time of americas independence it was not just farmers and preachers you complete imbecilic ignorant f***wad! it was one of britains most wealthy colonies. they werent tiny little tribes, you shitf***. ill say it again, it was one of britains most wealthy colonies with armies etc. Theyre not Americans and never will be even if they try to convince themselves otherwise. They were British people living in British colonies who decided to rebel because theyre unpatriotic cunts. funny how the usa as a state was founded upon the basis of opposing the very thing which it supposedly prides itself on today (patriotism). you can also stop trying to be a midleading f***wad because it didnt go against the most powerful country of the time as though it was the entire nation, it went against itself since it was a part of britain. regarding development, you can say that about most european countries you idiot. all countries become developed over time that's common sense you moron its not just America that did it. once again you proved yourself a dyslexic and autistic f***wad by claiming america works for world peace lmfao even though they start every war. you really are an indoctrinated cocksucking degenerate neveralone.
America started out as a back wter coutry who just fought the most powerful military in the world and became a world economic and military power in but a few centuries. If you don't consider that great idk what to say to you. Trump's slogan should have been keep America great because we never stopped.
if u would like proof look where we started and the rapid growth to where we are now. we started as farmers and preachers(general reasons for coming here depending on where u lived) and went up against the most powerful nation in that time and won. now we are a super power and have been trying to help in making world peace and have made friends with the nations that were our enemies.
don't u think black people are inferior? if ur going to be a troll u might try to at least be cosistent.
lmao when was it ever great? when it had slaves? when i treated the bkacks who fought in ww1 like shit after the war ended? when it had no civil rights for black people? when it committed a genocide against the real americans? when it used chemical weapons against vietnamese civilians and fought to keep it a french colony (so much for fighting for freedom eh)?
America was great. though I don't think Trump is the man to bring it back.
