they should try to learn an official language. in Canada we have 2, french and English. if for no other reason than that it is very difficult to interact inside a society if you can't communicate with people.
I couldn't agree with you more.
obviously older people may have difficulty, but younger people it should be expected. I'm not saying ban other languages, and I welcome foreign foods, customs, and traditions, however if you chose to move to a different place, you should, within reason, learn the local language.
