Invaded seems like a bit of an unnecessarily aggressive term. We were exploring, not invading. It would be invading if others had already claimed it as theirs.
If we invaded the moon and now mars, even exploring space, who's to say there aren't other life forms out there doing the same?

The universe is so vastly immense that there is absolutely no chance, statistically speaking, that we are the only intelligent life that has developed in the universe in all its billions of years of existence is aspires to 100% the bigger the universe is so do the chances of meeting such a life form aspires to 0%.
The sad part of this is that for the same reasins that we can say that the chances that there is an intelligent life form besides us somewhere int the universe are
