LOL. sorry. i understand.
kites are small pieces of paper with messages on them. that are then passed from cell to cell until the intended person gets the message.
come on blue_rayy....you could just research something if you don't know what they are.
so El Chapo should be killed?
comeon. How can they fly kites from a closed cell? They can walk and fly through walls? LMAO
prolonged isolation/solitary confinement is considered torture by most scholarly research. It causes mental illness. Furthermore, people who are in solitary confinement are find ways to communicate via kites with one another already. So you'd have to figure out an even more extreme form of isolation than is already available in today's super max prisons.
What about isolated solitary cells? How can they run their cartels from there?
you don't justify that someone is deserving of death. you justify that killing someone is in the best interest of the society or themselves.
let's take a convicted murderer for example. He/she faces life in prison but asks to be executed rather than spending life in prison. you could thus grant his request and thus justify killing him/her.
The other cause could be human rights violations. taking a dictator convicted in international courts and executing him/her may be the best option since loyalists may cause more harm on his/her behalf and thus cause harm even though the dictator is in jail.
The same goes for cartel leaders. Having heads of violent organizations in jail may not actually stop them from committing further crimes. Thus it is in the public's best interest to execute the prisoner rather than keeping them in jail.
although I generally perfer life in prison as being both a harsher punishment, and reversible if the convicted ends up being innocent.
I would support execution if: we have a heinous, unrepentant criminal, unquestionably guilty, and a skilled escape artist.
how do you justify the fact that someone deserves to get killed?
it can be. it's circumstantial though
