well we are told some signs. some we could arguebly be seeing right now but it even says no one will know the exact date. which I thinks good.
When is he coming?
when he comes in a sense. have u read Revelations? if not I could give a brief overlay. though it would be best to read it. it talks about when he will come again.
if jesus would have come again, He would have resolved all problems. wont he?
Jesus is having lots of happy women in the Paradise. Some men are mad and never want see that.
well unless u think that a person who's sex is male but wishes to be called female is OK. then since as far as I know all Christians want to be called a religion then that's what we are
that's my point. there are no firm defininitions of either. so me describing Christianity as a cult is not incorrect.
which one. there's several.
you are by definition a religion. you are by definition a cult. I am not incorrect to use that term.
You may find this interesting.
Basically, a religion is an old cult.
Also, the Catholic Church had no problem with cults until recently and contained many of them.
You are applying negative meaning to cult that is not actually built into the word.
again we are by definition a religion. it doesn't matter what it was in the past. we are talking about the present.
but the word cult is just as accurate as religion. Christianity's roots are a Jewish cult. that is what you believe in. if your faith is that strong then it should be strong enough to accept what it is, a cult.
u believe in the concept of right and wrong. I believe they have diff. meanings as we have already gone over.
I belong to Jesus. it isn't even an opinion. as we have gone over and u have agreed to part of being a religion is size. another is acceptance in the world. we have both. also the meaning as we have gone over behind the word matters. when u say cult what's the first thing u think? for most it is something demonic when some say religion it can be viewed in many lights.
except that I don't believe in the concept of sin. you do believe in the concept of religion and cults.
you belong to the most popular cult on the planet. you need to understand that and make your peace with that. it isn't an opinion, it is reality.
the feeling behind the word does though as I am sure u know most people don't look kindly on the word cult. so I would appreciate u not calling us such like we don't call u sinners destined for hell. because we are sure u wouldn't like to be called that either.
atheists by defininition don't worship anything. so no, they cannot be a cult.
and there is no definitive defininition of what a religion is. the reason is that at some point all religions were thought of as cults until they became powerful enough to be accepted.
the only difference between a cult and a religion is how acceptable it is to believe in it. Christianity, from its creation, is a Jewish cult. that is an objective fact. just because they expanded and became the majority doesn't change that fact.
Are you sure that Christianity is a cult? Maybe atheism is a cult when humans try to take the position of God.
the second def. is the one I have heard most often used.
Definition of Cult: 1)a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object.
"the cult of St. Olaf"
2)a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister.
"a network of Satan-worshiping cults"
synonyms: sect, denomination, group, movement, church, persuasion, body, faction
"a religious cult"
Definition of Religion: 1)the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
"ideas about the relationship between science and religion"
synonyms: faith, belief, worship, creed; More
2)a particular system of faith and worship.
plural noun: religions
"the world's great religions"
3)a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance.
"consumerism is the new religion"
there is a diff. in conversation. a cult to the average Joe is ussualy in bad context. while religion isn't. so when debating about religion I prefer the readers not to immediately think we're sacrificing children or something
there is no real difference between a cult and a religion. you are a large, powerful cult. but still a cult.
like u said it depends on how many people we have. so we are not a cult. by what ur saying then a country is a state and a state a town ECT.
a religion is a cult. a cult is religion. they are one and the same. the only difference is the number of people who believe it.
so yes, you belong the largest cult on the planet. please stop denying it.
Jesus is a friend to all.
Jesus is a friend to Muslims. Nobody can break the friendship because they are not his boss.
again. christians are not a cult. we are established and are quite large so again please stop calling us a cult. I don't call aithest idiots or anything else insulting so if u could do so in kind it would be appreciated.
cult leaders don't come back from the dead.
I believe so.
