On the surface it would seem like a great service, but the more I read about it, the more its lack of regulation concerns me. Cabs have to be licensed and insured to be sure a) we know who is driving them and b) they are insured to drive customers around. Uber drivers are screened, but not as thoroughly and can simply be someone with a piece of paper fraudulently shown on their dash. They are also regular drivers, which means they are not insured as commercial drivers. If they hurt of kill someone in an accident, there will be legal ramifications.

I like the idea of Uber, but I have concerns still.

A lots of people have protested against UBER in Brazil, US and other countries. UBER ( a app based taxi haling service) provides you with lower fares in compared to other taxi drivers.
