I agree with the globalisation of western culture and it being carried unto the Islamic countries as well. There is a reason that Islamic traditions shouldn?t evolve. It's a system stated by God eternally and has a good point in it for those who are a part of it if they want it. It worked for years in Ottoman era but fell apart recently because of some political leaders prioritising outreach relationship for personal and party interests. However, there's nowhere in the tradition itself that promotes rebellion against any western values- course some of em we dont agree with and we believe to have God's word backing that up but we dont have to spread hatred about it in any way unless some mischievous personnels deliberately inspire such behaviours.

Also, if you?re interested I can hook u up with an alternative view on 9/11 that I personally resort to.

But Islamic countries, like western countries, take pride in their culture. They don't want it to change, just like every other culture. And they shouldn't be expected to, but if your right wing nationalist types are anything like ours I imagine this can easily be spun into abhorrent meddling by westerners and an attempt to destroy your Islamic traditions.

Because global power both economically and militarily has historically favoured western countries, globalisation has seen western culture exported to Islamic countries. I have seen many populist politicians use that to garner political support. So while I agree it's not Islamic tradition itself that hates western culture, but instead the nature of holding a tradition as sacred that hates the "traditions are stupid" influence of western culture.

I recall the globalisation of western culture was cited by the attackers on the world trade center on 9/11 as a reason for the attack.
