A really annoying person arguing for the Westboro Baptist Church argued, among other TERRIBLE arguments, that god created the internet to spread the word of her specific church. But listening to her only brought upon me a revulsion and hatred which I realized I hadn't ever experienced before when debating other kinds of christians, more or less because most christians are not that nasty, vulgar or plain wrong. I then realized if the effect of their offensive and mean proselytizing was hatred and revulsion generally, then the effect of the church would be to reduce belief in christianity. Since god is perfect, his plan wouldn't be so poorly constructed as to be reliant on the worst christianity had to offer, a church which pushes people away... Therefore the Westboro Baptist Chuch is unlikely to be as endorsed by god as they seem to think they are.
