most children and teenagers really have no idea what they want to I know I did not so it makes sence to try to teach as many subjects as possible to prepare them for later life although there is an argument to be made for the over specialisation of the population of any given area
Until they decide where they want to go and what they want to do with their life, what gives you or anyone else the right to decide what they should learn?
