sorry for reading between the lines and moving the conversation up, but who exactly is suggesting legal penalties for creators who don't?
I was going to click agree at first if this was a solo project, but most games and movies are made by teams and owned by corporations, not people. corporations don't have gender or race. the actual writers and programmers are not owners, they are employees paid to do something for someone (or thing) else.
but since you used the singular regarding designer, and assuming this is some solo indie project, I agree.
Yeah, free country. Your game or movie, your decision.
