Religion is something where people can turn to for help and support, something that encourages good acts and moral behavior. That is a pattern that every single religion follows. Satanism doesn't do this(unless i'm uninformed). So, by my definition, satanism doesn't even qualify as a religion. There can be satanist Sunday schools I guess haha but of course that has to be organized by the people in the group. So, in the end, there can be satanist schools, if they wanted to make one. Teach math, science, english, satanism, and function just like a christian school, just satanist. I also have heard that satanists are secretive. A strictly satanist school kind of advertises them haha.

Exactly what I_Voyager said. I personally haven't heard of a public Catholic school. If there is one then that's wrong. But if there isn't then there's no wrong being done. Some individual with enough money decided he wanted to make a Catholic school. Any Satanist can do the exact same thing provided he had enough money. The problem isn't justice or equality, it's not having enough followers with large wallets.

you have to be fair to ALL religions, even if its one you don't like. I believe many wars were fought over this belief.

Actually Dave, I think both school boards deserve equally funding: nil.

There shouldn't be any publicly funded religious schools. If someone wants a religious education it should be on them to obtain it. The government has no place funding religious schools at all. Especially when they have to pick and choose one religious school over another to fund.

There is not sufficient population to warrant a Satanist school board, while there are enough Catholics. They have every right to set up a private school but unless I am vastly underestimating the number of Satanists they do not deserve the same funding as the Catholic board.

satanism has the same right as any other religion/sect to do whatever they want within the frame of law.

@PsychDave, Unfathomable might be "clearly" thinking satanist parents do have the right to raise their children as satanists.

Are you going to explain why you feel these schools are needed?
