Irrespective of how they earned it I'd say the average rich person contributes more. The more you have the more you can do. Being born into wealth doesn't change that. You're not a better or more skilled person. You're just endowed with wealth, like some are endowed with intelligence or physical size.
of the wealthy, do you think most attained their wealth due to contributions to society? or do you think most inhereted it by virtue of their birth?
Rich people arguably contribute more on average to society so since justice is about righting a wrong a person committed to society they could have a higher punishment threshold
Not really, but most people in the government are becoming corrupt. They do it for power or money or even both. I hope it will end.
