Who cares if somebody is homosexual even if it's against religion. Religion doesn't stop homosexuality. I enjoy religion and what it says but you can't use that as basis for your side. Accept people for people. That's all they will be.
*repeatedly knocking on table*
no one is telling the child that being gay is right and being straight is wrong. all they are doing is exposing them to the reality of the world. if the reality of life as we know it offends them, it is not the job of Disney to sensor themselves to shelter bigoted people.
So a Muslim child who has been a fan of Star Wars his/her life is exposed to homosexuality and disproves of it is at fault? So you are going to go up to the child's face and tell them everything they have been taught or believe in is false.... I highly doubt it. So you have the right to force your personal beliefs on another person? So the best thing you can say to him/her is, "then don't watch"; doesn't seem like a good business practice
I don't think putting a gay person in Star Wars is shoving homosexuality down anyone's throat. It's just showing a normal thing that happens in every day life, and if you disapprove then don't watch. It's really your own problem if there is a gay in Star Wars and you don't like Gays.
if Disney wants to put Muslims in star wars I would have no problem with that either. but since the only religions in star wars are Jedi and sith it wouldn't really make sense.
so are you making that argument towards Muslims? I don't think that would work at all
no one is forcing you to watch star wars. by definition they aren't forcing you to see or do anything. if you don't like it you don't have to watch.
You are right, there is a difference between shoving something down someone's throat and pretending it doesn't exist.
But forcing a certain belief down someone's throat when they do not accept it only breads resentment and eventually could bring about hatred and/or violence. The SJW's aren't going about it the right way.
I didn't say to pretend it doesn't exist. Yes it does exist. What about Muslim countries who kill homosexuals? Yes what those nations do and how they treat them is wrong but do we have a right to shove our beliefs down their throats..... the answer is no by the way
Omg I'm just a child you are poisoning my mind
wanna see more pussy on pussy action than dick on dick do ya, I get that
star wars is a big universe. there are gays in our universe, why would there not be gays in the star wars universe?
there is a difference between shoving something down someone's throat and pretending something doesn't exist.
What if Star Wars just added an alien race that scientifically has to mate with its own gender? is that forcing homosexuality in movies? I wouldn't even say having one homosexual person in a movie is forcing it.
However, I do think it is highly unlikely for Disney to do it. As they are very pro Christian .
I don't think it's homophobic but the idea of shoving a belief or a certain way of life down one's throat breads resentment. Forcing homosexuality into movies and shows can only lead to more resentment which in turn will bring hatred. (Needless to say these SJW's forcing things like this into everyday lives will bring about the worst in humans). Homosexuality doesn't bother me at all (brother is gay). But I can understand forcing someone to accept what they don't accept only breads resentment
