If it's well regulated with health and social services involvement (making sure that no one is being abused and that everyone is healthy regularly) I don't see why not.
Well if people had better alternatives than prostitution they probably wouldnt be doing it anyway.
In the hypothetical case where a prostitute works to survive and the state pulls away the only life line the alternatives will be much worse than prostitution.
Yes and no, I want to see it legalized eventually, the problem here is I don't want any participant feeling that they have no other choice. once we can ensure that every and all citizens hav3 a guaranteed bath to financial stability then yes legalize it all day.
