My point WAS that we would become too dependent on technology and it would prevent us from thinking for themselves, I'm not sure what you thought I was saying.
on a different note, I do think there should be a class where it is possibly allowed so children can learn about technology. Learning about technology is vital to the future marketplace, and I think that class should be mandatory.
While there are legitimate uses for smart phones, most of the use they see would be a distraction from learning. Facebook, Twitter, games and apps would all draw attention away from class, which would hurt the students in the long run.
why? so you can Google every possible problem given to you? no they shouldn't be allowed.
